Our Journey time to time

Timeline

1969

Started selling sarees in Ludhiana under the name of Monalisa in a retail format.

1972

Opened a wholesale showroom in Ludhiana of sarees and dress material. Opened a retail store in Jammu at Raj Tilak Road where shawls were sold. Later sarees were added.

1974

Opened Monalisa store at Raghunath Bazar in Jammu. Added kids apparels to existing shawls and sarees.

1984

Monalisa Raghunath Bazar expanded and added readymade apparels to the collection.

1986

Started manufacturing ready made shirts under the name “smart shirts”.

1987

Started manufacturing readymade coats and suits under the name “hallmark”.

1989

Opened Monalisa store at Apsara Road in Jammu and took the manufacturing business to a considerably larger scale at Industry complex in Bari Brahmana.

1993

Expanded Monalisa Apsara Road significantly.

1995

Opened Exclusive Brand Outlet for Raymond at Apsara Road Jammu.

2002

Increased to two factories for Hallmark in Bari Brahmana. First ISO certified company in India in apparel’s category.

2005

Opened Exclusive brand outlet for Octave at Apsara Road Jammu. Started 3 more factories for Hallmark increasing the total number to 5 factories.

2007

Opened a store for Ladies and Kids under the name “Diva” at Gandhi Nagar in Jammu.

2014

Opened a store exclusively for men under the name “Just Blues” at Apsara Road in Jammu.

2015

Expanded Monalisa Raghunath Bazar and Monalisa Raj Tilak Road.

2018

Opened Monalisa store at Residency Road in Jammu.

2019

Opened our flagship store at Janipur in Jammu.

2022

Opened our biggest store at Ludhiana spanning over 30000 Sq ft
